1. How is the total cost of local move calculated?
Example: movers showed up at 8.00am. at your place - that is the start time, they finished at 12.00, travel time charge to get to/from moving locations (always flat does NOT depend on traffic or other circumstances, based on google maps distances) is 15/15 min (30 min total), 6 rolls of tape were used. Rate: 69ph.
from 8.00 to12.00: (4hr labor + 1/2hr travel time)x69ph = $310.50
4 (2 free) rolls of tape: 4rolls x $3.00pr =$12.00 Total: $322.50
2. How is the total number of hours rounded?
The total number of hours is rounded quarterly. Lets say the total time came out to 2hr10min, in this case the total charge will be 2hr15min.

4. What is insurance option?

5. Should I tip movers? If yes, how much?
Tips are appreciated but not mandatory. Tipping should be reserved for movers who do their job right. If a mover goes out of their way to accommodate you, then tip accordingly. Usually it is around 10-15% of total cost depending on how hard the move was (stairs, heavy boxes, awkward items, etc...)
6. Once I`ve booked, what are my responsibilities?
Make sure you're there for the packing of your belongings (if you`ve requested movers to pack), and on the day of the move when we are loading the truck. This is the time to speak out if you notice anything you don't agree with or that was not in your contract. You need to take full responsibility for any high-valued items such as jewelry, documents, personal valuables. If you're not sure, ask. It's also your responsibility to make sure that nothing has been packed that is not supposed to be moved.
7. What is travel time charge for?
Travel time charge is additional charge besides of labor charge to commute to/from pick-up/drop-off locations from our hq. It is flat and will not go over in case of traffic, stops, etc. It will be known before signing a contract. Call us for details.
8. What can I do to make my move be quicker?
Our professional movers will try make your move as easy and quick as possible. However, there are certain things you can take care about to reduce total moving costs: a) try to prepare your stuff according our moving tips b) arrange a parking space, obtain permits c) put stickers on boxes according rooms they will go into.
9. Is weather a factor during the move?
Weather can slow down a move. But, our movers will still move you during harsh weather conditions. But, if the conditions get too severe, we may ask you to reschedule.

11. What type of payment do you accept?
We accept: cash, postal money order, traveler’s check, company/personal check on proof or major credit cards as: Visa, Master Card and American Express.
12. Do you dissemble and reassemble furniture’s?
We have all the necessary tools to disassemble and reassemble your furniture in order to take it out/in your housing and prevent being damaged.
13. Can I pack my clothes in a chest or dresser drawers?
Lightweight clothing may be left in the drawers in case if dressers are not heavy (real wood). Do not fill drawers with heavy items such as books, table linens or sheets, which can damage the piece of furniture during transit. Do NOT leave fragile items, money, jewelry, watches or other valuables in the drawers, as well as anything that might spill or leak.
